17 Feb 2023

GW Highways are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Highways Maintenance Contract for Brent Council to provide up to £37m of work in the borough.

Our Bid Director Nick Boland said, “This is a great strategic win for our business, and we look forward to working alongside the Council and residents of Brent to provide a sustainable and high-quality service in the years to come”

Working in the south (Lot 2), we will be responsible for a scope of work that includes planned schemes and maintenance over an initial term of 7 years.

Congratulations to O’HARA BROS. SURFACING LIMITED, who were successful in securing Lot 1, which will cover the north. We look forward to working with them to make this a joint success for the London Borough of Brent.

David Gibbins, Term Services Director said, “through this latest contract win we will support the Council with services and shared ambitions for Green Infrastructure in this vibrant London Borough. Our unique approach delivers better results for our customers as well as providing wider social and economic benefits to the local community.”

Watch this space as we partner with Brent Council to deliver key projects for the community as we continue to build back better!
