GW Highways are delighted to announce Herbert Micallef has joined the team as Technical Director.
With over 17 years’ working in both the public and private sector, Herbert brings a wealth of technical expertise and a proven track record in delivering value driven highways management.
Herbert is passionate about sharing best practice, and this is visible in the work he carries out at British Standards Institute for asphalt products, paving units, kerbs and geosynthetics.
Our Term Services Director, David Gibbins, says ‘Herbert’s appointment within the business facilitates broader customer support as we continue to deliver sustainable, innovative solutions for infrastructure. With his support there are some exciting projects that we can deliver ahead of time and maximise the opportunity for carbon reduction in the built environment’.
Herbert is responsible for technical control and assurance of our activities and is actively involved in our carbon reduction programme.
