GW Highways are proud to showcase a recent project completed for Maidstone Borough Council, a design and build contract that involves the creation of a new car parking facility at the Maidstone Innovation Centre, a new hub for medtech, life science and healthcare.
The scope of work included complete design, validation and build covering excavation, imported fill, new paving and kerbing, landscaping, fencing, flexible landscaping and road markings.
Maidstone Innovation Centre is the newest and the most environmentally friendly building Maidstone Borough Council owns. It’s living wall extracts 149KG of carbon dioxide as well as produces 110KG of oxygen each year and we were delighted to offer and facilitate this scheme with that commitment to reducing their carbon output.
