The Importance Of Emergency First Aid

05 Aug 2021

A few months ago a very distressed member of the public with multiple stab wounds came onto one of our sites looking for help, and through our robust training programme the GW Highways team were able to provide emergency first aid and call the emergency services. Without their assistance, the member of the public would have certainly been left with serious life-threatening injuries.

Safety matters to everyone and the health and wellbeing of our team is of paramount importance. We instil a positive culture throughout our organisation because everyone deserves to work in a safe environment. We are one team with an approach that puts SAFETY FIRST.

Danny O’Reilly from Hi-Way Services Ltd said, “GWH sites are the safest they have worked on, the road closures are proper road closures with all side gates shut and manned”.
